Summary: Long ago, there was a film about a man who unlocked the secret of invisibility, and went absolutely insane as a result. But while this modern reimagining of the Dr. Griffin isn't harassing villagers or derailing trains, he's definitely up to no good. Oh say, can you say, domestic abuse?

History: Adrian Griffin was a horrible control freak and an even worse boyfriend. For him, if his woman, Cecilia Kass, wasn't doing everything he wanted the way he wanted it, there was a problem. Not surprisingly, Cecilia left him in the dust, and he committed suicide afterwards. Or did he? As it turns out, Adrian faked it, and instead donned a custom-made hyper-advanced full-body suit that made it so that he could appear invisible to the naked eye. His goal was to haunt Cecilia and drive her insane as she tries to convince others that she's being attacked by an unseeable dead man.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: As it turns out, Adrian made a second suit for his loser brother Tom. That way, if the guy ends up dead (he does via bullets), Adrian gets away scott-free. Alas, this plan doesn't quite work out, as Cecilia outsmarts him, uses Tom's suit, and makes it look like Adrian slashed his own throat.

Powers/Abilities: Adrian's suit is loaded with tiny reflecting cameras and projectors that enable him to become undetectable. He is also a rather physically strong person to begin with.

Weakness: He is invisible, not intangible. Also, his suit often makes a slight chittering noise when the cameras shift to match the environment.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-Adrian is already a horrifyingly realistic depiction of domestic abuse, but then you factor in his inexplicable genius and tech, and you've got yourself a monster. He very much could be anywhere, or worse, someone else in his employ could be. Not only that, but his suit's a bit creepy, looking like it's covered in black eyes.

Trivia: -This film was originally going to be a part of the Dark Universe that Universal infamously tried to push in the late 2010s. It would have also starred Johnny Depp, but that didn't matter in the end when the project fell through. The end result was a standalone film.

-Adrian was played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who is known for his televised works, including both "The Haunting of Hill House" and "The Haunting of Bly Manor".
